  • In blogs, there is a thing called posts.
  • Blogs provide commenting system.
  • Articles appearing in reverse-chronological order
  • Typically do not allow server side scripting.
  • Blogs are generally more informally presented to the visitors.
  • The language used is often much simpler than on websites.
  • Updated almost daily.
  • Frequently crawled by Search Engine
  • Often covers a wide variety of articles

Web site (Site on web)
  • A website is a collection of content called web pages.
  • Do not make posts, but rather add the data to a page for viewing.
  • Have unlimited storage on multiple pages that can be viewed on one screen
  • Are written in a code by the website designer educated in that code.
  • Unlike a blog, the pages are not usually organized by date
  • Have almost no boundaries to what you can design or create to display.
  • Require server side scripting to perform more complex tasks.
  • With websites, you have a more control of your site's layout because it's easier to work directly with the code
